Hi there,
I was directed to you via Don Hawkins, a high school friend of mine, and a UW classmate of Chris’s.
He told me I should take a look at your blog and send you a hello.
So, hello.
I took a look through the blog. Great work. I am excited to hear how all your hard work turns out. I hope that you have a very fruitful, and vegetableful season.
I just started my own blog about the green happenings in the Waterloo area, and the non-green happenings as well. I would love some feedback, but whatever.
Thanks, hope to talk some about your work.
Ian

Wow - good for you for taking the plunge. I’ve jumped in with a smaller project this year, starting my first vegetable garden. Cheers to new gardening adventures in 2008!

Hello,
I happened across your blog just now and thought I’d say hello to a fellow Ontarian in the inaugural year of a CSA program.
You call yourself and ‘aspiring farmer’ but, I figure, if you’re operating a CSA, you’re a real farmer!
I hope all is going well. Maybe we could start up a conversation about our farms over email? Check out our website, if you’re interested.
Cheers and happy eating!

Colleen,
Yes, you are right I would be a real farmer now. I guess when I wrote that I had yet to deliver a farm product to a customer, which is kindof where I figured being a farmer started?
I’ll check out your site when I have a bit more time… Looks interesting. I see you guys are in Prince Edward County. I’ve always loved that area.
Chris
